Pre-op tomorrow, any advice

My pre-op appointment was moved from Thursday to tomorrow and wanted to get some advice from all of you on what I should ask.

I'm having a TAH/BSO due to Stave IV endo, fibroids and an enlarge/tilted uterus.

Any advice or questions would be helpful and appreciated.

Ask about bowel prep, what time to stop taking any meds, and when to stop food, how long he thinks you will be in hospital, what will happen for the pain afterwards , and any question big or small you might have. i had a written list and my dr took it and went over every question on the list lol.

I printed it out and then as I read other peoples posts, I would add questions. When I finished - - I had about 5 pages. My took her time and answered them all. Then to make sure that I didn't miss anything, she took the papers and checked my answers and filled in any missing points.

Just ask them anything that pops into your head. There are no stupid questions. It's your body. Write down a list of questions that you want to ask and remember to take it with you.
My fibroid was the size of a football .... I had a TAH.
