Question - post ablation after tubaligation syndrome? post ablation after tubaligation syndrome?

Has anyone ever heard of this? I had an ablation approximately 2 years ago. This was due to my very heavy bleeding during my periods(ultra OB tampon plus a super wide pad with wings changed every hour for 3-4 days during my flow). My periods also came every 21 days instead of the 28. I opted for this sugery and I'm glad I did because I no longer bleed, just spot enough for a pantiliner. I have been having lower abdominal pain for the last 2 months, had a CT of my organs, xrays of my pelvis, blood work, urinalysis, stool samples(regular and parasitic), I've had a colonoscopy which was inconclusive because the inflamation that I had was accompanied by prep induced lesions(bowel prep caused the colitis). I am at my witts end with no answers. I've been searching the internet for answers and saw that there is such thing as this post ablation after tubaligation syndrome only alot of these women had breakthrough bleeding, which i do not have. Is it possible to have endometriosis after having had the ablation procedure? All of my symptoms point to endometriosis and since i've been ruled out for having a GI problem is this possible? Thanks for any input you can give,Ginny.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I am still not sure what's wrong with me so I can't answer if I will even need a hysterectomy. I was hoping to get some insite here since many of these women have been through so much on their journies. I appreciate any info or knowledge I can obtain here.

Hi Ginny!

I'm sorry that you're having problems that bring you here. We do have a forum on this site called Endometriosis Support which may be the best place to get the input you are seeking. The wonderful Sisters in that forum have a lot of endometriosis experiences to share and can link you to some excellent resources, too.

I hope that the information you find helps you have a good discussion with your doctor and that the cause of your pain can be determined and treated soon.
