New to HysterSisters

I am now to Hystersisters but I have been reading the post and I feel so much better that there is a place that all of us can talk about the different things that go on with a procedure like this. I sent my doctor an email today letting her know that the Darvacet she had on my chart for pain was not going to fly because my primary care physician had prescribed this for the bad menstral cramps I had and it was like taking sugar pills so I let them know early I will need good drugs I am a weiner.

I had a previous bad experience with pain control following a surgery, so I made it clear THIS TIME to my Dr and the anesthesiologist that I will be a very unhappy camper if they don't keep me comfortable.
No problem with pain control this time around!
You are wise to speak up!
