still no biopsy results!!!!

Ok, dr. office called and they still have no results of endo biopsy. They have u/s but would not give me results until they have biopsy. It has been a little over a week and I am tired and frustrated.

I know I should not draw conclusions from this, but it makes me wonder if things are not great because why not give me results they have.

Anyone have experience with this. I really figure they are probably normal at this point. My bleeding has slowed way down now. I am still crampy but not too bad.

I had a transvaginal US due to postmenopausal bleeding. I received those results first ( not for over 2 weeks because the dr's office messed up and said they never received them and then when I called to ask about them they magically appeared) Due to a really thick (15 mm) lining a D&C was needed. I had the D&C on a Monday at noon and was called with the results at dinner time on Wed....Don't assume because you haven't heard it's bad news....usually they give you the bad news right away.
Hang in there....the waiting is the worst part!

It's been my experience that they always call you right away with bad news, but make you wait for forever to get good news.

Hope all turns out well for you. And yea, the waiting is definitely the hardest part!!

Goodness no, don't start trying to "read tea leaves" on your test results and/or office behavior. The lab doing your biopsy might just be "backed-up," it may just be the office policy not to give any results until they're all in, etc. The folks on the other end usually don't grasp how crazy this waiting makes us.

Hang in there! We'll all keep our fingers crossed for reports that are total snoozers!!

Got my results today, biopsy did not show anything and ultrasound was pretty good, but did show possible polyp or something (not sure what) so they want to do a d&c. Plus they saw a uretocele in bladder??? He said he did not know what that was.

Any thoughts
