Does anyone know about DHEA? HELP
Why are you getting off your hrt does it not work for you? DHEA does not work the same way as estrogen or as well. I took it and I did not get better with my symptoms. I too got off my patch and took DHEA and other supplements thinking they were a good substitute for hrt, but was disappointed.
If you want to get off hrt to do alternatives maybe some of the herbs like black cohosh, soy, or some of the other things might work for you.

I'm wondering myself, why would you want to consider going off the patch?

Does anyone know about DHEA? HELP
Hi!
Was the person you spoke to in the store your own doctor? Was it a doctor who understands the difference between surgical and natural menopause? I think you should consult with your doctor about your hormone concerns and not make any changes based on the advice of a store employee.
When I started on compounded hormones, my compounding pharmacist asked if I was taking DHEA. I said no and he said that it was good I wasn't and to stay away from it. I didn't ask why but I have never taken it and am doing fine with the hormones my doctor prescribes for me.
Please check with your doctor and let us know what he/she says, okay?

Does anyone know about DHEA? HELP
.2 is a really really low dose of vivelle.dot. If you're feeling good on that small amount, I would keep going. DHEA is a precursor to testosterone, and you really shouldn't take it unless you're deficient. I was, so I was given the go ahead by two docs to take it. I hope to get tested again in about three months. If I'm doing ok, I'll continue. If it's too high, I'll stop. DHEA has the potential for doing something to, I believe, the liver. (But don't quote me on that)
Best of luck. It is a jungle at times

I wouldn't say that .2 is a low dose. You have to wear 2 patches to get that dosage. That is double what I am getting. Have you thought about adding a compounded testosterone for your memory and libido?
