Moocho Cloudy Monday April 21st
Hi BESTers
OK you gals - up and at um. It's unusual for me to start 2 posts within 2 weeks.
Bkft: oatmeal w/raisins, coffee
Lunch: what ever my cousin is serving - I think it's sub sandwhiches with side salads (deli stuff I imagine)
Dinner: something easy - I have some frozen fish filets
Excerise will be our aqua arobics class this evening. I've decided that I just have to get DD to see if she can get me a 30 day "gift cert" for the gym where she works. I don't want to pay for a year's membership when I won't use it all year round. Since she works there - maybe they will do it? They only offer them at Xmas, but how about for mothers day?
OK - off and running.
Fran? you out there? Hi's to Sue, Ali, PJ, Margo, IndoP, Nanette, Nanno, and everyone else I'm forgetting cause I'm in a rush...

Good Morning Melissa and anyone else who shows up,
I finally got my paper written and sent in yesterday
Now, I need to prepare another one for to sent in by next Tuesday
I did good all weekend food wise Yesterday I didn't drink enough water, will do better today.
In spite of my tiredness and just all over not feeling well, I got on my for 45 minutes (2.5) miles, I got off every 15 minutes and did some other exercise ( , for my arms and legs, I even tries lunges as I heard they were the best for keeping your metablisim going throughout the day). I am staying from the @#$$%^ scale. It depresses me too much.
For today ...
Pre-B ... usual toast w/pb and tea
S ... fiber one bar
B ... high fiber cereal w/1% milk and banana
S ... yogurt and V-8 juice
L ... steamed broccoli w/ reduced fat cheese
S ... carrots and hummus
D ... chicken pasta extra veggies.
Well, better got going lots to do and not a lot of time to do it.

Moocho Cloudy Monday April 21st
Morning All!
Just a boring day of house cleaning and laundry today. It's cloudy and supposed to rain soon....a good day to work inside, although I just feel like cozying up and reading or something. I'm very tired from all the garage/yard cleaning this weekend (actually, DH took Friday off to get a jump start on it). It will be a push to exercise, but I'm determined to get on some sort of regular schedule this week...MUST or I won't make it through the challenge.
Breakfast...tea and whole wheat English muffin with pb and a little honey
Lunch...sandwich ?
Snack...avocado and Triscuits, apple
Dinner...? Not planning well today...looks like it better include a fruit and some veggies
Melissa...Enjoy your family time today!
Gloria...Great to see you again!
Barri...Glad you can check that paper off your list! Good job on the exercise!
Have a GREAT day all,
PJ

 Evening ladies
Monday, Monday... so today's weigh in shows a 1 lb gain, but I know that's just water retention. DH took me out to dinner yesterday to Chili's -- and although I had the guiltless grilled chicken sandwich, I did sneak a handful of his french fries -- and, boy were they salty!! I drank a ton of water... and, feel better today.
B - kashi cereal w/ soy milk
S - apple
L - grilled chicken caesar salad from Whole Foods
S - applesauce
D - grilled chicken w/ asparagus (broiled with garlic & olive oil)
S - WW ice cream
Exercise -- out taking the boys for their walk.
I ran to Whole Foods at lunch time to pick up some fresh veggies and fruits. We should be good for this week with quite a variety.
Nanno... great going this week!
Hi's to everyone... gotta clean up the dinner dishes & fold up the laundry DH did today.

Good Evening All
Nanno Great job on 10 lbs gone! Your doing sooo well.
PJ - boring? you never do anything boring. LOL.
Sue - glad you OK with the 1 lb gain of water. Resturant food always does the same thing for me - must be the preservatives in the food - I try to make good choices.
Barri - wow! You go with the !! You'll be ready for Mexico before you know it.
Luncheon was fun. My cousins are a great bunch. One is in her 80's (and her DH also), others are in their 60's & 70's and yet others are my age, 50's. We talked and ate and talked and ate. Like normal. Sub sandwhiches cut into small chuncks were served (I had one tiny piece of itallian), with fresh veggie platter, fresh Jersey asperagus marinated in lite itallian salad dsg , cheese chunks and a couple crackers. I avoided the chips, dips, other breads w/olive oil dipping stuff. But that's so I could indulge in a piece of birthday cake. One cousin turned 70 this week so we celebrated her special day. I also had 5 m&m's only 5 - I could tell they wouldn't sit well. I also avoided the wonderful Pepperidge Farms Malino cookies I love! I was fairly good and happy with how I did.
Made it home just in time to grab swimsuits and rush off to class. I'm exhausted and going up to bed.
I'll check in to chatter and say hello. Sending hugs for an OP day for us all again tomorrow.
M.
