3 months since total hysterectomy glad i did it

Hi! I am Picture book and I am so glad I got the hysterectomy. I have gone by the 3 months and am doing well. Fantastic to finally feel better after being extremely anemic before surgery. Wish I would have known about this web site before surgery. But so........glad I found you after my surgery!

Hi this is Picturebook1 I was wondering too about exercise. My gyno says I can go ahead and go to the gym. I am now 3months post op. He says its fine.
The instructor at the gym says I should really take it easy or I could have problems. NOw worried about going back to the gym is she right or is he right. He is the Doc afterwards right? How much can you do safely? Everyone a little vague

It's nice that your doctor has given you clearance to exercise and I think that the instructor is right to caution you to ease back into that activity. Listen to your body and don't overdo. You can work back up to your usual fitness level over time--it doesn't have to happen in a day, or even in a week. You'll want to be especially careful if you've had surgery to correct prolapses.
