Hi Ali and All my BEST friends! Happy Tuesday!

Your reports from yesterday are fantastic, I'm so proud of all of you! Ali, you will be right back on it, I'm sure. Good luck to your plants, ours will be threatened tonight.

Whatever I ate yesterday seemed to be okay, I did not overdo, ate lots of grapes while looking for snacks.
Today -
Pre-B = 1/2 unripe kiwi I threw the rest out and I won't even count the calories.
B = shake, frozen, so still working on it. My stomach is growling loudly. 200 cal
S = grapes + almonds, might eat my yogurt, 200 cal if I don't overdo the almonds
L = green salad, carrots, cukes, tomatoes, maybe a protein drink (EAS, 100 cals) ~300 including dressing
S, or "Pre-dinner" (would that be called "tea"?) = maybe a shake - 200
D - Lean Cuisine type, maybe 400
pre-bed S - milk or shake or protein drink. If I stick to this plan, then I'll have to add a few calories. Let's just see how it goes I'll believe it when I see it

Today's (first?) walk is done. Today is IN the office, so the temptations will be great.

Later

Good Morning my BEST friends!

After starting off good, we ended up at Cracker Barrel for dinner due to me having some sort of sinus headache and not cooking. It was yummy, comfort food. But at least in portions.

So, today is a do over day for me. Walking and laundry are on my list. I've had my OP breakfast so my day is off to a good start.

Have a BEST OP day everyone!

Hi Nancy and Ali and Desk.

Nancy you'll walk off whatever you overdid on yesterday.

Desk, your shakes sound good and seems like they are helping you stick to being OP

Ali...IT is sooooo cold here today. I was freezing in the waiting room waiting for my DH (cataract surgery). Tonight I think we need to cover my little magnolia bush!!!!

Well, I ate Mcdonalds (sausage mc muffin no egg) for breakfast/lunch so even tho it's high in calorie it's both meals for me. So, I'll just figure the points and get on with life. I find for me, I eat my heaviest food points in early to mid day then I eat lighter foods towards evening.

OH well, gotta go take care everyone HI to everyone else

Good Morning,

Nancy ... I am sure no harm was done. You'll burn it off in no time and you too Ali.

Desk ... you are doing SO good, those shakes seem to really helping you.

Nanno and everyone else who pops in ...

I got up early (4:30) Mandie was being very pushy and not leaving me alone so I just gave up. I did get 30 minutes on the that is about all my body can do right now, any more I get too tired, plus time is at a premium at the moment ... SO much to do before I leave for Mexico.

Today I just HAVE to finish up the wallpaper. So today I will dust, clean bathrooms and upstairs, then wallpaper and run a few errands. This afteroon I will lay outside and soak up some Weather is certainly far from freezing.

Yesterday was very OP.

Today will the be just as good.

Pre-B ... toast w/pb and tea
S ... light chocolate soy milk and almonds
B ... high fiber cereal w/banana and 2% milk
S ... yogurt
L ... steamed broccoli w/balsamic vinegar
S ... light popcorn and an apple
D ... don't know, we are supposed to go out, but DH may not be able to make it, if we do I will have fish an veggies. If I am by myself I will have a lean cuisine lemon grass chicken and a salad.

Well, gotta :run3:

in chatter,
Barri

Bkft: 1 egg omlet w/mushrooms & cheese, 1 slice 12 grain toast, tea
Lunch: WW's veggie soup (8oz), 1 slice pumpernickle bread w/chicken salad (made w/lite mayo), iced tea
Dinner: elbows w/meat sauce - adding lots of fresh onions, peppers, garlic.
Snack: I have had some twizzlers today. Will watch my self at SIL's this evening.

No formal excerise - did several trips up/down stairs for but not enough steps.

It's freezing here as well. Sun finally came out about 1 hr ago after buckets of rain last night. Now it's very windy.

*Desk - hope your shakes kept you on track today at work. Sounds like your doing well.
*Nanno - my neighbor (the swim buddy) counts her WW's points and gets on with it as well. She's lost 11.something and is very happy the points system also. Hope DH made out OK - will check chatter.
*Ali - that dreaded "s" word - keep it all to yourself in Ohio thank you!
*Barri - I still can't get used to the soy milk. DD loves the stuff. Glad you like it. It's a nice healthy option. To me it's the texture thing I think - too "thick" or something.

Off to finish dinner prep's then out the door.
Hugs to all,
M.

Hi all,
Well, I've had a little better day today - not quite so many cravings. I fixed 2 cups of tea late afternoon, and that seemed to take the edge off. Maybe I need to go back to my tea breaks (I had stopped 'cause the weather was warmer).
I'm getting ready to go scrapbook - only at my house, not my neighbors this time...keep those snacks away from me!

Barri, I know the wallpaper will be causing you to burn calories...stress calories at least! Did you call around to other stores?

I'm off to cover my plants - freeze warning tonight.

Okay, I'll end today with a little confession. I've found a little something sweet that I can control...no cravings, just a nice little treat. It's those little thin mints. They are such a strong flavor, I can't over eat them, but sweet enough to keep carb cravings at bay. I use them right before I hop on the bike (50 minutes, now) and right after. It's that simple carb I'm supposed to eat to keep from going into ketosis. Works like a charm. It's like a little carrot (and I'm the horse in the scenario LOL)!

Yesterday was a little off for me too...in a bad mood and then DH had the crazy inclination to bring home breaded shrimp for dinner. WHAT??? Blew my fat calorie allowance out of the water, but total calories and carbs were okay, so I won't dwell on it!

The exercise continues, along with the tapping, visualization and work on a positive self image. I'm enjoying all of it and feel I've finally found my niche! Sure hope it sticks!

Breakfast...peach, 1/2 English muffin with pb
Lunch...sweet potato, 2 pieces of whole wheat bread with a little bit of beef
Snack...avocado and Triscuits
Dinner...ground beef casserole (made with lowfat soup and shredded potatoes), carrot sticks and green beans
Snack...Cheerios
Thin Mints (3) as a treat

Ali...must have been something in the air yesterday...I needed a do over today too. Sounds like we both turned things around today!
Desk...Yes, you do sound like you are doing really well! Isn't it great when we find something we enjoy that satisfies us!
Melissa...Aerobic laundry...amazing how those chores add up on the old pedometer!
Barri...I already read Chatter and know that the wallpapering was frustrating! Hope you're feeling okay about it now.
Nanno...You are so lucky to be able to eat light late in the day. That's when my appetite really kicks in!
Nancy...Everybody needs a little comfort food sometimes! My DH brought home comfort food for us yesterday...have to admit it hit the spot!
Desk...Hope you were able to fight off the temptations! A little visualization goes a LONG way! LOL

Okay...time to hit the shower and then off to bed. Sleep well BEST friends!
