Hysterectomy: April 25th, 2008
Surgery Type: LAVH
Ovaries: Removed both
I had my surgery yesterday and I'm home today 04/26!!

I'll be posting on the postop board now. You guys, it is just like everyone says. There is a little tenderness afterwards, but nothing like that horrid pain I had before. I ended up having both ovaries and my uterus remove because it was so loaded with fibroids (aliens) and I had endometriosis, adenomyosis and tons of adhesions. My uterus was the size of a grapefruit, if not bigger. GROSS. Glad that thing is gone. I pray for all of you preparing to go in. You will be glad you did it.

Liz - 47 - postop - adenomyosis, endometriosis, big old gross fibroid uterus, and adhesions. No wonder I was in PAIN.
