TVh in less than 6 weeks and have 4 kids, seeking coping tips

On 04/28/08 I was put on a semi-urgent list for a TVH. They said it will be within the next 6 weeks. I have 4 children ages 10,9,6 and nearly 3.

Although I have done lots of reading in trying to prepair myself menatlly and physically for this I could really use some words of " tried and true " from all those ladies with young ones at home who need you still. How can I prepare them, as well as myself, with what to REALLY expect?

Luckily I have teens who can fend for themselves but I'm sure there are plenty here with advice for you. Good luck with your surgery.
