Enema for bowel prep?

I did not have any kind of enema before, just normal BM. but took three days after before bowel moved in hospital. The fleet enema is small, lady in bed next to me had on after surgery, she did not complain much, just a couple trips to washroom. Stay away from the white bread/flour in the hospital, really can hold up bowels afterward., I avoided the pancake, waffle, white biscuit. The food was bad, not enough fibre, take some prunes with you for after operation.
