A few questions(kids mentioned)

Hi I have never posted before but I have a few questions
I am going to the doc today I am 2 weeks post op tommorrow and I had a tvh with anterior repair and I have been losing stitches since five days post op and tmi but I looked in a mirror and it looks like everything is falling to the opening of my vagina and to top it all off I have no help husband went back to work this week and I have 4 kids aged 7,5,3,9mths my baby is 20 plus pounds and I have to lift him into the car and I guess back to my normal busy routine sorry guess venting too. I guess my question is has anyone had stitches coming out so early? What kind o damage am I doing to my self by lifting my baby? thanks in advance sorry so long I hope everything is going well with everyones recovery

A few questions(kids mentioned)

Hi! I think I would call your doctor. It doesn't sound good if things are "falling". Please try to take care of yourself. Do you have friends or family that might be able to help with the baby? My doctor really stressed that no lifting is crucial to healing.

Best wishes and please keep us posted.

sounds like you should call DR.. i cant imagine going threw this with a baby , at some point u have to carry the baby,, what chice to you have... unless someone moves in for a bit, i dont see how you could avoid lifting...
i feel so bad .. it's def, not good to lift anything right now.. not sure if your insurance would cover it, but if you brought this to Dr's attention you may be eligible for help... ouch be careful .. gee it's not like the 7 yo can lift the baby , it would be difficult, to lift into highchair, crib, even to lift into the car... maybe just maybe these next few weeks, could you feed the baby in her/his car seat, so you dont have to lift? or try to find ways around the whole lifting thing... i pray you find help so you can heal without any complications...

It sounds like your doing plenty of damage. Did your dr give you the ok to lift your baby at such an early stage of your recovery. I hope you can find another alternative so that you can get some help untill you recover. I feel for you I also have 4 kids but older and I recall when they were all younger and caring for them in good condition is difficult, I can't imagine in your condition. Sit with hubby and come up with plan B!
