Pain in lower abdomen

I had a LAVH on Apr. 17th in which they took the uterus and cervix. For the last few days I have been experiencing an achy pressure type pain around the pubic bone area and back towards vaginal area. Is this Vaginal cuff pain? It's really uncomfortable if I sit in a normal chair, but laying back in the recliner is ok. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

I don't know what it is, but I have it too. I hope it's just part of the healing process. Good luck to you!

I had a LAVH on 5/6. This is probably a dumb question but does that mean I have a vaginal cuff? What is that? I do have pressure towards my perineal area but I'm hoping it's because I haven't had a BM yet.

I had the same thing, I said it was like a burning sensation when I would stand or sit up, if I laid back, it would get better. Doc said normal, it is muscles connected to your pubic bone and that I might be doing to much. The past couple of days, I have not had that pain though. Hope that is what yours is and it goes away!
