I don't think ur you are the only one... I'm 4 weeks post op, and have been really tempted to do what you did... lol... If the cramps don't go away within a day or so I would call the doc.

Hey there.
I think you should maybe call your doctor's office and fess up if you are still hurting - the main concerns are tearing (if they took your cervix) and infection. I'm sure you aren't the first in their practice to do it too early.
I know six weeks is the "benchmark" for most, but I am nearly seven weeks out and DO NOT have the green light, and dr. doesn't think I will for another two weeks or so. So its more of a healing issue (which differs wildly) than a "time" issue. Let us know you're ok!

I only waited 3 weeks, then was terrified i had hurt myself because i was hurting and burning and didnt know if it was because of what hubby and i did or just normal. I am almost 11 weeks post-op and feeling so much better now but i wouldnt wish all the worring i did on anyone! Take care and let us know how your doing.

Well Girls
AS I said previously , my BF and I intend to "launch" next week which will be the 6 week mark. Doc said ok but proceed with caution. Which I will. I've discussed this with my BF who is afraid he might hurt me and odesn't want to do it. I on the other hand, have said u dont need to protect me from me. Rather, I need u to help me gently explore how far I/We should go. He finally agreed, so we'll c. Will let u know. M

OOPS!! naft, I didn't tell my Dr. until my post-op which was at 7 weeks. I had to cancel the one i had for 6 weeks. M Dr. is a 2 hour drive away from home and he felt confident i wouldn't need to be seen until then. Anyway, he just kinda smiled as if he hears that a lot and asked how i was feeling ,and any pain issues i was having. I guess what i was feeling was normal, THANK GOD!!! I was really scared for awhile. I thought i was the only one also that let my libido get the best of me,lol. Glad to know i wasn't the only one!!! Poor hubby felt just awful that he might have hurt me. But i was the one who kept telling him it would be OK if we did and like you it wasn't all the way LOL!!!!!! Let me know how your doing.
