How fast a year goes by!

Amazingly fast! I rarely even think of my hysterectomy anymore. I believe I went through a mourning period, no more babies, (even though I am 50) and I've had trouble getting my desire for sex back.
Am I sorry I did it? No. Would I have it in the same hospital? No. Horrid hospital experience and thank God it was short.
Life goes on, sick or well. We make it through the time alloted.
If you are heading toward the surgery, it most likely will not be as bad as you think it will be. And pain meds help a LOT.
After the surgery, it is best to make sure that you REST. Take all the time you need to recover. As every question you have, even if it seems stupid,and if your Dr. treats you like you are stupid for asking, GET ANOTHER DR!
