snacks-carrots and hummus, 6 blue corn chips, cottage cheese

M-congrats on losing the puffy pounds!

Magnificent Monday

Good morning Hatrick and all BEST friends following.
And welcome back Dawn. Many of us are doing the WOMAN Challenge...I don't think it's too late to sign up. We're doing a virtual walk across America. We're listed as the B.E.S.T. Friends team and Lynn is our team leader...we're signed up for the cross-country walk. PM me if you want the site.

I'm off to the kitchen...will have yogurt with cereal this a.m.
Lunch - salad with tuna
Dinner....???

I rode the bike last night 'cause was running late in the a.m. Hopefully that helped with anything gained from last nights ESL dinner...great foods from Japan, India, Columbia...you get the picture...
Will hop on the bike this a.m. also. Then chase DgD around all day and garden...should be plenty of exercise!

Later all.
Ali

Talking - Magnificent Monday I ammmmmmmmmm back

BESTer's

I had had the MOST relaixng vacation ever !!!! Just what I needed, there was NOTHING to do, so lying by the pool and reading was the order of the week.

We had a lot of good food, but I still managed to lose 2 lbs . I did bring walking shoes and each morning 2 other ladies and myself walked to explore the neighborhood and it is ALL hills and hard one too So I was able to meet my challenge goals and them some (do we extra credit for doing more )

Today is going to be spent catching up on things, which means LOTS of movement, so should easily reach 10,000 steps which is my goal this week.

Food for today ... I have nothing planned , I have got to find tmie this week to get over to WW, maybe tomorrow when I take Mandie and Winston in for their haircuts ... it is HOT !!!!!! over here, into the 100's Mexico wasn't even that hot , although we did have a lot of humidity.

Well, I must get on with my day, I have read all of chatter and will read the rest of the daily threads later, it is great to be back.

Have a GREAT day everyone,

Barri

Hatrick-good job on the 1/2 lb, were you able to get in on the challenge?
Ali-great work doing your bike, this challenge is motivating,I have wondered about your esl title and this morning I just figured it out. Duh!
Nancy H . you sure get a lot done curves, walk etc
Dawn-welcome-alot of us are doing a woman health challenge-encourages us to get in steps each day-exercise etc., come join us.
Barri-I am so glad your vacation was a relaxing one, my DH always thinks we have to go go go and do do do. Great job on the lbs lost too! Glad to have you back.

Today despite that I wanted to stay in bed, I made my self get up and
cleaned up my kitchen that didn't have the energy to do last nite, swept etc. went for a walk and ate my Oatmeal and banana, all before I allowed myself to get on this computer.

still planning lunch and dinner.

I start back to work tomorrow, just short shifts, which means the housework at home will suffer.

Challenge is going good, met all goal for last week, and increased it for this week.

Good job on the challenge ladies.
Have a good day

Magnificent Monday

Hi Everybody!

I'm happy to report that my initial weight loss, courtesy of Paul McKenna, is holding steady (3 pounds)! This morning I am still at 189.2! After over doing the exercise and pushing myself too hard, I backed off and got a little upset with myself. Hence, some less than OP eating since Mother's Day (my annual cupcake set off a whole chain reaction! LOL). I was a major GRUMP yesterday and decided a change was in order. So, I've plugged myself back into the plan and am ready to get serious. Goal: two pounds this week, BUT I'll be happy with one!

Breakfast...tea with toast and pb
Lunch...sandwich and carrot sticks
Snack...avocado and Triscuits?
Dinner...out (more errands to run and groceries to buy)
Snack...I do love my Cheerios!

Barri...Welcome back! Congratulations for the 2 pounds!!!
Dawn...So GREAT to see you back!
Ali and Nancy...You'll be busy today!! ENJOY all that movement!
Hatrickdog...Congrats on the weight loss and thanks for the tip!!

Must get busy...today is washing and storing all the winter clothes, boots, coats. If that doesn't bring on a cold snap nothing will! LOL You should see my laundry room!!! STeps will not be a problem for me today either!!

Have a gREAT day all!

Food is finally planned for today only.

Pre-B ... toast w/pb and tea
S ... 8 cashews
B ... banana, dried cranberries and 1/2 C low-fat yogurt
L ... Broccoli steamed
S ...
D ... sauted salmon that has been marinade in chinese dressing, basted w/teriakyi sauce (thinkened), over steamed spinach and mushroom DH wants to make mashed potatoes also, so I will just a small bite.
