Bladder Tack?

I have heard that some people do. My mother had to have it done after hers. Luckily, they did all that at the same time as my hysterectomy. And it is so much better not having the leakage.

Bladder Tack?

I had mine done at the same time but from what I hear quite often women need a bladder tack sometime after the hysterectomy because things can shift. I think that the cervix helps to support the bladder and if it is not there then after time it can begin to fall causing leakage.

My uterus had colapsed on top of my bladder causing it to drop nearly two inches which made the docs decide to do everything at one time.

Bladder Tack?

{{{kk}}} Hello and Welcome,

I think once you have hyst the general overall pelvic floor is weakend. And don't quote me because this is all coming off memory from appointments, questions and reading. Once your pelvic floor is weakend and continues to weaken, prolapse occurs. There are exercises you can do to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles. But I would definitely seek the counsel of your dr. and second opinions if you aren't satisfied with what you are hearing and the explanations.

Good luck to you through all this. Prayers and blessings,
