need support about no more babies (children mentioned)

I just need someone to say something to let me know Im not alone and that things will be ok. I am 32 I had my TAH 2/07/07 for excessive bleeding, fibroids, and endo (it was an emergency I was allowed a couple days for it to all sink in.) One week after I decided to move across the country for a man Ive been with for a year at that point, He was SUPER supportive in every way possible. Oh I do have 3 children they are 17,11, and 7 and I never really thought that I wanted more until I got into this current relationship but he said he didnt care he never wanted children of his own.... Well it seems like that was a bit of a lie or at least a downplay of how he really felt because now he says hes not sure he can marry me knowing we'll never have children and he has no desire to adopt or anything else he wants them to be his genetic kids... It breaks my heart if there was any way I could have a baby for him I would have but I know I just wanna cry when I see pregnant women and my best friend just told me shes pregnant and so excited and Im just sad... I am so afraid Im going to lose my man over something I have no control over.

I'm sorry

Im sorry for your sadness I am 33 with one child age 5. I wanted more children also and am dealing with the loss also, I know it hurts to think that you are being rejected due to something like this. Just keep trying to look on the bright side, you have 3 wonderful children and there are a lot of fish in the sea It sounds to me like he is not being completey honest in the situation, I say it's always better to see the other side of them sooner than later.. I wish you love and luck

I can't completely relate to each of your stories. My husband and I were never able to have children. We are talking about adoption. I also hate to see pregnant people. It usually upsets me when I first hear that someone is pregnant , but after a while I am happy for them. The whole hysterectomy process was and is still difficult for me. It's just nice to be able to talk on this site.

Sorry for your sadness. I have 2 children(grown) lost 3. My husband left me after the 3rd one was lost. Can feel your pain. But lucky me, I found a wonderful man that does not care if I can no longer have children. (tubes removed 10 years ago). TAH this coming Tuesday 17th. And 4 wonderful grandchildren with one on the way. Moral: Be who you are, love as you will. Good things will come your way too. Roller coaster life. What a wonderful ride. Hang in there.

LOL
