When will I be able to get rid of these pads?

I was so excited to get rid of all of my feminine hygiene products, but I am four weeks post surgery and still leaking clear fluid tinged with blood... Not a lot, just pantyliners, but can't I be done with these already? How long have you needed your pads? I am so anxious to get rid of them... and I'm almost to the point where I need to go buy some more. How many do I need to buy?

I'm sorry I can't say. I haven't had any post-op leaking but I still have the mini-pads and super maxi's, just in case. I can't help but think the big spiked heel shoe is going to drop right on top of my head!

I still have to use pantyliners for light spotting. My doctor checked and everything is healing fine, just taking a while.

hI

I had a LSH on Jan14 and had bleeding for about 2 weeks, then there was nothing. I went 3 months with seeing nothing until I saw some light staining that lasted 3 days...I tell you I freaked. The Doc treated my cervex with Silver Nytrate and i'v see nothing since so we'll see. hang in there.....it only gets better from here. Denise.

Yep as I have learned it's different for all of us. Depends on so many different factors. I'm in week 2 I haven't had any bleeding since day 2 from surgery. But, as i've learned that doesn't mean I'm out of the woods yet.
Hang in there

When will I be able to get rid of these pads?

This is the end of my 7th week and finally I have stopped leaking, mine was urine if I bent wrong or sat wrong a bit came out. I just wore panty liners. I am going to try today since I am staying home not wearing any~~~they are really chafing and bugging me esp at night.

I have not worn them for years and will be glad to get rid od them

I'm ONE MTH out and still using panty liners.

My stitches are bothering me, bit of itching, but I am not scratching!

There is some light discharge, probably due to the healing still. AND a bit of blood from the stitches...I'm hoping that I'm not doing too much for the stitches to be tearing...

HUGS!
