Pelvic floor pain

I am (as of today exactly) 6 months post hyst. I have been struggling with pelvic floor pain which originally was solely right-sided, but now extends across with a sense of pressure. I saw the doctor today who thinks it is to do with the muscles of the pelvic floor and recommended pelvic physicial therapy. Has anyone else had experience with this? And did it eventually go away? It is affecting my abilities to work, have sex or really enjoy any recreational activities. Thanks, Amanda

I am not sure if I am feeling the same thing but I do have a chronic pain a little in front of my right hip and on the hip itself that aches every night and worsens with certain activities. Not sure if it is scarring or muscle or what. My doc is ruling out adhesions or scarring so she is sending me for an MRI tomorrow. I waited a year because everyone says it eventually would go away but it hasn't. Not sure if this is the same kind of pain you have but if it keeps up, you should go back and find out for sure.
