Omg Freaking Out (tmi)

ok im going staight to the point. tom will be 1 wk po i have been feeling a lot of pulling around my incision (i had a TAH) and i just went to the rest room i ahve started spotting, so im worried about stiches on the inside, i have staples on outside. anyway i also noticed that one side of my ummm va jay jay is MUCH larger than the other. i am a sz 20 so it was a large one to begin w, but now it is huge on one side!! i was wondering if it may be a hernia? and what is one im going to look that up anyone pls let me know what you think!!!

Regarding the spotting, the general answer is "if it's bright red blood you should consult your doctor", though if you feel that seeing your doc anyway would help you relax, then I would say go for it.

Regarding the one larger side "down there", are you referring to your labia? Mine swelled up after my surgery (kind of lopsided) and it took maybe a couple weeks for them to get back to normal proportions. Again, feel free to consult your doctor if you want to.

Im a smaller person and i got vaginal swelling too. Looks funny and kind puffy even in the general vaginal shape....lol. Doc said normal. Ive been spot bleeding since day 7 and im 4 weeks out now. Its easy to pull vaginal cuff stitches as your using legs more and not tummy as much. They heal....but if your bleeding alot and its very red call doc to ask. I did.
