abdominal binder

I am 3 months post op and I am still using an abdominal binder. Whenever I attempted to remove it, I feel like my tummy seems to fall apart. Is this feeling normal ? How long I can use abdominal binders ?Is there any resolution to this bulging tummy ? What kind of exercise you have been doing to make your sagging belly looking better ? I still feel some twitching and pulling sensation in my tummy as well as in the internal incision that I feel nervous to do something other than doing inclined walking in the treadmill for at least 45 minutes. I forgot to ask my doctor all about these on my last visit last month. I would appreciate your input. Thanks a lot. I haven't been to work yet due to the above concerns.

Still using abdominal binder?

Silver wings, be sure that you have been checked for a vaginal/vulval yeast infection. If you were gvien antibiotics by IV or have taken them by mouth, you could have a yeast infection, which we get more easily as we are hormonally challenged and get older. That would explain the itching. If it isn't yeast, try this for the itching. Wash yourself with mild soap and cool water. Maybe just use your hand instead of a cloth to avoid irritating the vulva. Rinse well immediately and dry well between the folds. Then apply plain petroleum jelly -- the kind you squeeze from a tube will stay cleaner. Put a panty liner in your panties to protect panties from the jelly. This will help heal and will soothe the itching too. You will be able to get out!

It doesn't sound like a good idea to still be using the binder. The muscles need to work to tighten back up. Do light exercise, even walking.
