Diabetic

hi...I am new to this site because my doctor and I have just decided on this surgery. I have diabetes and use insulin this seems to be a concern of my doctor for extra precautions. I also suffer from severe anemia. I would be very interested in hearing from other diabetics who have been through this to see if their recovery posed any special problems. I was a diet controled diabetic will my hyster now have been put on insulin and am ticked about it .. after the hyter my BGs have been higher then normal and nothing I've dun will bring them down, so have been put on insulin so am NOT happy about it cuse have been told that its likly for life!
