Birth Control

Anybody out there who can give me an idea of when I can stop taking my birth control?? I meet with the gyno about surgery on Wednesday, but my next pack of pills starts Sunday (before appointment.) Hubby will be gone for much of the summer and I am kind of excited at the prospect of not having to take those EVER again.

Anticipating surgery Mid October. Husband will be gone for two of these upcoming months

I'd call your dr and ask him/her. That way, you'll know for sure what to do.

My doc had me stop them for one full cycle before surgery.

I went into surgery a wed....I stopped taking them the sunday before...I didnt want to be with my period just before my surgery.....if you are not sure, a call to the doctor or his nurse sounds good....
