Guided Imagery CD'S for Negative Thoughts?

Anybody know of some kind of CD to help with all my fears and negative thoughts? I just cannot seem to shake them. I am afraid I am going to die and my brain just can't seem to shut up about all the things that can wrong. Maybe if I listen to a CD even while sleeping it will help.

Guided Imagery CD'S for Negative Thoughts?

Not sure of any but something like that could come in handy in life in general too so I will be checking back to see if someone knows of something.

Also, I'm not sure if your a christian or not but my bible helps to put me at ease when I am nervous and scared about something.

Guided Imagery CD'S for Negative Thoughts?

I had and still have thoughts of "what if's" my first surgery i downloaded all my favorite music to a mp3 and kept it handy. I used visulization to help me , I also had to ask for a little help from my dr who prescibed clonopin so I could sleep ( I would lye in bed thinking way to much) I took it the day of my surgery(Dr told me too) as well and it really helped me...I too am a christian and I prayed alot for God to intervene and send me some comfort and peace... This is normal how you are feeling.. dont be afraid to ask for help from the Dr's they are really prepared to help you through this... physically and mentally...Dont suffer and not say something... ask and you shall receive....

I have been listening to "Self Healing" by Louise Hay and "The Healing Waterfall"by Max Highstein. I think that larger book stores carry many types of imagery tapes/cds. These have helped me and I listen to them every night when I go to sleep and every morning before I wake up.

gentle imagery for surgery

I have been listening to Belleruth Naparstek's "Meditations To Promote Successful Surgery" every night before bed. There is a guided imagery section and also an after- sugery affirmations section. Her voice is very gentle and comforting to me...I fall asleep way before the cd ends. You can check it out on Amazon or the healthjourneys.com website. The background music is very light and soothing.
