switching from Vivelle to Climara

I have a few questions, I guess. First of all... I recently switched from vivelle to climara because I have really bad insurance and climara is cheaper. I am 6 weeks post op and have been feeling great. Since the switch I am achy, crampy, bloated and moody. This week is when I would normally be starting my period and my dr said my body could be going through a kind of pms because it is so used to doing so for so long ( I had really bad PMS before surgery). Has anyone had any trouble switching from one patch to the other at the same dosage, or do you think the pms thing is right? Should I switch back or give it longer? Thanks!!!!

switching from Vivelle to Climara

Hello - I just switched from Vivelle to Climara and so far so good. I do know when I started Vivelle I got a terrible back and neck ache. That did get better. I do have a bit of a backache off an on and am now not sure if it's the Climara or something else. I'd give it some time and see if things get better.

Take Care,
Teresa

switching from Vivelle to Climara

Hi,
I came off Vivelle Dot because my insurance is crappy too and it was 45 bucks a month. The doctor changed me to a pill (estropotate) prolly spelled that wrong! I take it at bed with the rest of my meds. I had a few hot flashes the first 2-3 days after the switch but am doing great now. The pill is alot cheaper......10 bucks a month and no sticky residue to deal with!
