Ovaries Removed!!

Hello Ladies, I would like to bring you up-do-date so far!!
I have had heavy bleeding for over 3yrs now!! so far I have had DC and Microwave Ablation, Mirena Coil fitted and removed, as was still having heavy bleeding and clots. In May this year, I had both Ovaries removed, was supposed to have Hysterectomy but Gynea decided to leave Womb and Euterus as they both looked fine, according to him!!
Anyhow, since having op, I have bled for over 70days todate!! sometimes heavy sometimes light!! was told not to use HRT as Cancer in family!! so have suffered sweats!! ect...
Today was back with Gynea and she gave me Internal and told me the Cervix looked normal and healthy, so now she is baffled why I am still bleeding!!!! I want to know if there are no Ovaries, what else could be causing the bleeding!!! could it be something else, entirely!! As I have had scans and nothing has shown up! so are they looking in wrong place all together. The Gynea, now wants me back in for a Hysterectomy!!! OH, God, not another op!!! I need advice, any would be a help...

I can't give you much advice, but I feel your pain. I had one ovary removed a week tomorrow, and my endometriosis on my pelvic wall shaved.

I wonder if the bleeding is because you have no hormones and the endometrial lining is shedding...? It's just a theory.

Irishlassy, I have no idea what could be causing the bleeding, hopefully your dr's will figure it out soon. The worst part is not knowing. Keep us posted.

Thanks for writing ladies, Ava777 I have been doing some research into Endometrosis, and am thinking on the same lines as you!! its the only thing I can come up with! Have a quick appointment next Wednesday for further tests, so will let you know the outcome. Thanks again.
