Easy crockpot Chicken stew fit for a princess -- submitted by Rosa

Our moms all told us chicken soup is healthy ... I lived on this for a week after surgery since it freezes so nicely. Thanks to Light & Tasty magazine for the original idea of this stew.

2 envelopes chicken gravy mix
2 c. water
3/4 c. chicken broth
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp. minced parsley
1-2 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 stalk celery
5 med. carrots, cut up
1 large onion
3-4 lb. chicken, cut up
2 c. frozen mixed vegetables
3 tbsp. flour
1/3 c. cold water

In slow cooker, combine everything except mixed veggies, flour, and cold water. Cover and cook on low 7-8 hours. Increase heat to high and add in mixed vegetables. Combine flour and cold water; add to slow cooker. Cover and cook on high 1 hour. Freeze in individual portions. Eat alone, with crackers, over rice or noodles, or (my favorite) over homemade biscuits.
