Pink discharge

Hi everyone. The dreaded "pink discharge" has started for me today. I have been wondering if it would come or if my one day of post-op bleeding was it. Well, it's here. I also feel like I have cramps.....HOW CAN THAT BE??????

The discharge is small and only on the TP - it's not even enough to end up on the pad I'm wearing. But it's really unnerving when you see it. (of course, we were out running errands at Sam's Club today when I noticed it and I had nothing with me....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr).

I'm still very tired and fall asleep in my chair or sitting up when I'm reading. I haven't done too much or done any heavy lifting or vacuuming.

I return to work tomorrow....I will be 19 days tomorrow since surgery. I think I'm ready to go back (my lazy side wishes I could sleep until 9:00 every morning and sip coffee while reading the newspaper). Hopefully I'll make it the whole day.

Have been feeling like I have more energy in the mornings the last 3 or 4 days.....so this is a good thing. My tummy still hurts though and I feel "bloaty" toward the end of the afternoon if I've been up too long.

I look forward to healing and never having this bloatiness and cramp pain again.

hugs,

Pink discharge

I'm sorry you're experiencing this but it's not uncommon, as I think you know, especially as activity increases. Not quite 3 weeks is still early days in your recovery.

Please take care when you return to work and don't hesitate to contact your doctor if you're concerned about anything ~ anything at all.

Sending all good wishes!

Pink discharge

Cheetah,

Yep, that pink discharge is normal. I am lucky for the fact I hardly had any post-op bleeding.

Keep in my mind you are still healing girl. Let us know how you did at work and how you feel. You will probably be very tired, more crampy and more bloated, since you are only about three weeks post-op.

Please take care of yourself,
Hugs
Jess

Pink discharge

I have had slight pink watery discharge from the beginning. It has gotten a bit heavier, but it barely stains a pantyliner. I just assume I am healing. I am sure it is tender in there and it is normal. Okay, I hope it is.
