15 days post-op ,VH , major constipation and bloat.

O.K. so I had a major constipation for years , my Dr. diagnosed me with a prolapsed uterus that was sitting on my rectum and had caused a buldge in the rectum. So this VH and A\P repair was supposed to fix it but I can only go with laxatives and my belly is so swollen and painful....just wondering if this is the norm or if I had this done for nothing Also does anyone else have pain in their bellybutton after VH ? I am not a Dr. or nurse. But I would think you are experiencing this because your body is still adjusting to the A\P repairs. Our bodys really bulk when they are messed around with. Just do what ever you have to for now and wait for your body to readjust to having everything moved around in there. I am sure your Bowels will start moving like they are suppose to before you know it.
