I am actually more concerned about time off from work and insurance coverage/bills than I am with the hyst. itself. I am to have the surgery Aug. 29th. I am so tired of the pain and today it is worse than usual. I feel sick with it today. Decisions, so difficult to make. di

I am worried about my copay too! Mine is 600 dollars I had to call the insurance company myself to find out though. Guess what? My surgery is on the same date! We should keep in touch. I am having a TAH/BSO My DR said he is suppose to say 6 weeks off of work, but he said most women are begging to go back at two weeks. He said he doesnt care as long as they have a desk job. But I stay at home with the kids.

Many hospitals will work you and make a payment plan when necessary. My dr did as well

Hi, Ladeebee! Welcome! I just found out this morning that August 29th is my surgery date, too! It looks like there are a few of us all going in on the same day....
