Dull Ache Lower region
Kind of a strange question........................does anyone with endo ever get a dull ache in their vaginal canal and rectum? Sorry this is kind of uncomfortable to talk about but, I can only compare it with when a baby drops and it pushing down in the canal? Any help would be great.........This really hurts ALOT

Yes, I had a general feeling of heavyness and ache. You know what helped for me is sitting on the toilet. For some reason that shifted stuff around and relieved some pressure. Just sitting there helped.
Go figure.
I saw your post about ORS and I am sorry you find yourself facing another surgery. I wonder if your remnant is pressing against your bowel and causing this discomfort?
Are you at all constipated? Something to consider.

i first felt this pain really bad 3 days after my daughter was born...that was 12 years ago on the 6 august, but then i started getting is just before my monthly easing when i started bleeding, but i now have it DAILY..was talking to my mum about it last night - she had total hysterectomy 30 years ago and said that that pain used to drive her crazy - her exact words were.....
"i hated that pain down below it felt like somebody had kicked the bone repeatedely, i dont remember what labour felt like but i will never forget how bad the pelvic pain was"
yup i couldn't have put it better myself .. it makes me want to put my head through a brick wall, its that bad..

Yes, I know what you mean, I had that pain daily also had sharp shooting pain that would come and go in that area. Mine started right before my 2nd laporoscopy (during which the dr found my bowls stuck togerher and adhered to my back) still had the pain after surgery however. Never found any thing to help, i have had some relief the last three months due to lupron shots. Hope you find relief soon.

I have had that pain, usually the few day before and of my period, and I guess I never thought of it to be endo related, but it makes sense now. It did feel kinda like having to poop, but not going, ya know? Hey, don't feel uncomfortable talking about it, that's what we are here for (I haven't been here long, but I can tell all the ladies here are super supportive and caring!)

Dull Ache Lower region
This is exactly what I have been feeling for the last 2 1/2 months. I feel like I have an egg in my bum which turns into a dull ache that feels like it is radiating from my tail bone and down my bum like pressure. I also get the ache in my vagina and sometimes i feel like my bladder is being squeezed. I have this pain/discomfort daily and have seen several doctors and none of them can tell me what is wrong. I had a ct scan which showed some abdominal fluid and a ultasound which showed an ovarian cyst when this first started in early June. Since then, I went back to get another ultrasound and the cyst was gone. Nothing showed up so my gyn suggested I go see a pain specialist. My regular doctor scheduled me for a sigmoidoscopy which was normal and put me on antispasmodics which do absolutely nothing. My ob put me on birthcontrol pills which seems to help for the first month but not the second month at all.
I am new here. This is my first post. I am in tears daily trying to figure out what the heck has happened to me. Could I have endo??? Would that not have showed up on an ultrasound.
My symptoms tend to be worse around the week I ovulate and the week of my period but they never go away. I have the ache in my rectum almost continueously and is worse when I sit down or when I first lay down.
Can anybody give me some advice please?
Thanks.

my gyn told me that endo can only be diagnosed with a laparoscopy, but the way you are describing the pain it does sound very similar to some of the pain i suffer because of my endo
obviously you cant say for definate as you have not had a lap yet,and when i was scanned when i was younger i was told that cysts where perfectly normal that we get them regularly and that they usualy take care of themself with no problems, but there are of course the odd one that becomes problematic and has to be dealt with,
you need to get a referral to a gynaecologist and sugest tests for endo, then maybe you can get the help you need.
good luck
