25 days post op and worried bladder suspension did not work

Is it possible that the bladder suspension did not work? I am so worried that I will have to live with this pressure the rest of my life. I felt good yesterday, but today I feel the pressure that I did before the surgery, only not as bad. What can be done if the surgery did not work?

Talk with your doctor. If you're having urgency issue - it could be a UTI or you may need meds to help prevent bladder spasms.

No urgency or spasms. I just still have the feeling that something is in my vagina, like a tampon half in. I do still have stitches, so I hope that is what it is, but I'm not sure. It's been 4 weeks today, so I would think the swelling has gone down by now. He told me the surgery was only an 80% success rate. I sure hope I'm not in the other 20%.

Do you have a post-op checkup due anytime soon? If not - you might want to make an appointment and get this checked out by your doctor.
