totally BORED! totally NUTS!

At least that seems to be what my family thinks! I just want to cry all the time, boobs ache none stop, always hungry. HELP!!! I don't feel like myself at all, can't wait til monday as I have to talk to the dr. Surg. was june 20th, but I am always so darn tired. But there is no rest around here. Everyone thinks I should be fine by now but I only last about til noon doing things and then I am down for the rest of the day hurting and ice pack back on my stomach.
Everytime I try to get some sleep there is always something that my gang can't seem to do without me.
I just needed to talk to anyone. Sorry for going on and on.
Heck, I was so bored I made a master food list made from all the different food lists I could find on the web.

So glad I've got somewhere to turn to and know I am not totally CRAZY! As the Drs. really don't tell you much but stay in bed! Thank you to all for all the postings! May God Bless You All! Heartsbe

It sounds like you need a little more support from family around you. At least to leave you alone and let you get some much needed rest.

I'm sorry you are going through this and wish I could offer you some sort of solution, but I can offer my prayers and support and KNOW that you are not alone and you are NOT crazy!!!

I hope you get some answers from the Dr. tomorrow. God Bless

I can totally relate with you. But I also have RLS against me also. When it wouldn't act up and I could actually nap during the day..well low and behold I hear the resounding MOM. Heck even when I try to use the bathroom....well here comes the knocking on the door, MOM I need to use the bathroom. My family thought I should be better and doing stuff and I got tired of explaining to them That I wasn't healed yet, so I copied some of the printable articles off this site and hung them on the fridge so they could read them and help them better understand all the healing
and so far it seems to have worked. I walked in the kitchen one day and they were actually loading the dishwasher and I wanted to say to them, see you actually can do it. But I didn't I just walked by and said Thank you.

totally BORED! totally NUTS!

Dear Heartsbe:
I had my LAVH, BSO, and endometiosis tissue all removed on June 20th, 2008 too. I have gained a lot of energy back, but I am still pretty sore. My next follow-up is Aug. 12th. I don't think that I should be this sore yet. I have been sleeping on my sides the past week or so. I wonder if this has anything to do with my soreness. My Dr. did say to do what feels best, and this is the only way that I can sleep now. Pre-surgery I slept on my sides. Tell your family to let you rest when you need to, and Not to bother you when you are resting. Let us know what your Dr. says. MaryAnn

Thanks for all the support and yea I have tried to tell everyone about needing a break but no cookie. I have great energy til about noon. Only because I did too much. Then any pain meds being motrin to tylenol-3 I have to eat my prunes and gas-x. Along with my icepacks. It's driving me crazy on how messy my house is!!! I want to mop and sweep my floors!!! Have a good night girls! heartsbe

Hi Hearts... I had my surgery a few weeks before you, and I hear ya sister! It seems when I got my "release" at 8 weeks, DH seemed to think "Ok, she's all better now, she can handle everything!" And so I do, whether or not I feel well enough. I had the oh so bright idea today to deep clean my kitchen... Pull out the stove, wipe down the cabinets, clean the fridge. All that good stuff. Well, I have a really clean stove but that is about it! lol I completely ran out of steam about a quarter of the way through it. Oh well, so it takes me 4 days...

I go in to see my surgeon tomorrow because of my pain for the last 2 weeks. It has been sooo hard to "Just say No!" to those dang prescription pain meds! Can't wait until I'm over this hurdle!

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that you aren't alone, or crazy! And, well, saying "no" is difficult for us mothers and wives. We just don't do it often enough. So, I hope you manage to find some peace and quiet soon and get some rest!!! Hang in there... Hopefully your doctor will have some guidance for you next week! In the mean time

Just give family members jobs to do. You have to make sure they help you.
