Hyster Sister.

Hysterectomy: September 12th, 2007

Surgery Type: TAH

Ovaries: Removed both

What is micro-invasive?

If somebody had CIN2,3 (which, from my understanding is also CIS) and has a vaginal hysterectomy, what does 'micro-invasive mean' in relation to have a pap every three months? Would that mean that they still think there are signs of cancer that 'escaped' from the original site?
