Finally Friday

It is a good morning Besters! Ironed out my insurance issues this AM with hospital- No, I didn't owe them any more money

Yesterday-10,000 steps
b-strawberry-banana smoothie
l-Japanese cook in front of you place-onion broth, shrimp and scallops,vegies,rice, tea
d-half a salmon burger, no bun, sweet potato fries, green beans

Ready for a shopping date with the girls- lunch out and shopping, finish with a trip to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's-you are all invited to come along (virtually)! Have a good one!

Finally Friday

Good morning Hatrick & the rest of the BEST.
Have been OP this morning!
B - Cereal & milk
S - peach (oh they are yummy!)

Exercise - RODE THE BIKE for 15 minutes! Oh it feels so good to be back on it.
Grant it - I'm slow,, and using no resistance, but I'm riding.
Using my trekking stick and when in the kitchen, walking without anything!
Such FREEDOM!

DgD is coming at noon and we'll have lunch, a nap, and go to the fair!

Finally Friday

IT HAPPENED!!! THE SCALE MOVED...DOWN!!! Very exciting...but I'm not celebrating just yet. It has to hold until the week is up and that is not actually until Sunday. Now, the hard part. Continue downward or at least hold steady. I'm just losing what I already lost this year and then gained back...but it feels GREAT anyway.

Prebreakfast...banana (ahhh) and tea...graham cracker b4 and after exercise
Breakfast...toast and pb
Lunch...sandwich and veggies
Snack...apple...maybe some string cheese/crackers
Dinner...chicken breast, brown rice and corn on the cob (was going to have this earlier in the week but had to pick up because kitchen was not working LOL)
Snack...? Continuing to reward myself with two servings of five peanut M&M's per day. No cravings...very satisfying...no jump in blood sugar apparently. I only get them if I exercise. Black mail...works every time with me!! LOL

Hatrick...Enjoy the day! I will be with you in spirit! Have FUN!
Ali...Congrats on feeling better and doing so well! Enjoy the fair!!

Finally Friday

Good Morning everyone,

I had jury duty Mnoday and the jury was still not seated by the end of the day, so I had to go back Tuesday for the morning and now I am done

Food has been so so, yesterday was not good But today is a new day

Oh I finally got my test grade back (I hate waiting for my grades). I got an A-

Busy weekend and now to bathe the 's

Have a good OP day and even better OP weekend.

Finally Friday

Hi All

I'm here - just no time to post. I read the past few days quickly so won't remember enough to address everyone. Just know that I'm thinking of you.

Food has been fairly good. Nothing earth shattering. My scales remain stuck at 176. I apparently won't make my goal of being back at last years low of 164. I think that was an apparition.

Sharon - to you for taking the plunge. It's not easy that's for sure. I'm over 4 yrs out with the bypass and it's easier, but still a struggle.

Ali - good for you on the cane/crutch and riding the bike. Good job!

Barri - an A- is great!

Nancy - safe travels. Enjoy your visit w/your parents.

My dad is doing much better I'm told. I haven't been since early in the week. But apparently he's looking good and finally eating and drinking enough that they took out his I.V.'s

We're off to a big car show tomorrow - then home for a block party. My DH has to work so won't be attending the party. Them's the breaks. There's always next year.

Hugs to all - I hope to be back to posting each day next week.
