Estrogen Sensitive

I am 6 years post-op and still have brain fog that I can't get rid of. Everyone says it is estrogen related but I am very estrogen sensitive I am taking Estratest HS because the full strength makes me feel terrible. I have tried creams, pills, patches, sublingual, vaginally, natural not natural the works.
Ok that said my question is if you are very estrogen sensitive and need to get more estrogen in to get rid of the brain fog which way is best?

Would vaginally be a good option since it absorbes less than say your skin or sublingual. I need something very gradual.

Any input would be great, Thanks ladies!

Estrogen Sensitive

What kind of vaginal estrogen did you try? Bio Creams and patches didn't work for me. I fluctuated too much on them.

I have learned that I am very sensitive to changes in my E levels. The femring (vaginal systemic estrogen) has worked the best so far for me. It is designed to release a steady dose of estrogen over 3 months. It's not perfect but I feel the most normal on the ring.

Estrogen Sensitive

I am interested in this also, because I am VERY sensitive to Estrogen, and really all the hormones. I recently changed to Estrogen cream, haven't had any hormone tests done, and really don't know if I am high or low. I am also on the Vagifem, which seems to be working great. The brain fog, it seems to me, can be caused by high Estrogen as well as low Estrogen. Has anyone found that one or the other is most often true?

Estrogen Sensitive

Low estrogen and too much estrogen cause me to have brain fog and to be forgetful. I am extremely sensitive to estrogen too. Currently I am going through horrible insomnia just because my doctor tried to change my dose a little. I took take estratest and I was sleeping great but since I started to gain weight on it, I asked for my doctor to change it a little. All we did was go to cut the estratest HS in half and added more estrogen. BAM...the insomnia. The doctor can't believe it. I am also under a lot of stress too so that probably has something to do with it. I take premarin vaginally and that brings my estrogen up and i feel better even though it is supposed to be only local. If you ever need to talk to someone who is still not balanced, just send me a note. Take care Lucy
