Sore breasts anyone?

In addition to all of the other things that hurt and overall feeling crappy, my boobs started hurting today. Is this normal? I'm 5 weeks post-op today and I swear, I think I feel worse today than any day so far! Also, the doctor said I can't go back to school until Sep 8. Another teacher emailed me and said she set up my classroom. I know I should be grateful but it's my classroom! She is a former student and probably one of the best to do it. I feel terrible that I'm upset about this.
Sorry, just needed to whine!

You are not alone, my Sister.. My boobs hurt so bad, I pushed my 2 week post op appt up 4 days, just to whine.. LOL I was on fairly low dose BCP's prior to surgery to

1. prevent pregnancy, as I have had several miscarriages and 1 tubal that somehow didn't rupture- 10 weeks along!!

2. my skin was a mess!!!

3. to control severe endo that made my life a nightmare before I went on the pill and had several surgeries to burn it off..

My doctor told me that it was PMS.. I was on active pills only for 3 months prior to giving up and caving to a hysterectomy.. I wasn't willing, but the pain was so severe.. Basically I had no PMS and no period for many months and all of the sudden, I am off the pill and my hormones were on my case!!!

Last week, I begged her to let me go back on the pill. I can't take the zits and the painful boobs!! She said ok, and that some women who go off the pill after a long time can be so tuned into their bodies that they can tell which ovary, if she was lucky enough to keep them, she was ovulating from!!!

I adore my doc, as she will stay with you as long as you need.. I never get mad when she is a little late because I am sure she was late a time or two to answer my endless questions..

Also, write them down as they cross you mind, if you don't already... the quick 2 and 6 week checkups don't leave room to think, so start writing..

I hope I helped, even if just a little.. Feel better!!

Sore breasts anyone?

Mine too, still got my ovaries so I am still having all the PMS symptoms but without the pelvic pain. Still worth having had the surgery. Haven't known for years what it has been like to not have pelvic pain, but yeah, the tendere breasts are normal.
