Are you on any antibiotics? I have heard that they can cause thrush.

I would suggest you get some diflucan if you aren't taking something already to clear up the thrush. I think it is pretty fast acting.

thrush does anyone know

Hi (((Mary)))) sorry you're dealing with this

I do hope you've discussed this with your doctor: from all that I've read and from what I remember when my newborn DS had a case of thrush, it need to be treated with an antifungal medicine

As for causes, it seems that problems with thrush are due to a weakened immune system. However, hormonal changes also can cause issues: it's not uncommon during pregnancy or when a woman is using BCP. I'm thinking that HRT, depending on it's formulation may also be a culprit

I do hope you find answers soon

thrush does anyone know

little bit of info for you...I kept getting thrush...for over a year and two or three times a month, the doctors couldn`t find out why...until the gynae doctor said I was going into MENOPAUSE....I`ve been on Femseven100 patches for 3 months now and it is clearing up slowly....although I did have a bout of thrush again last week....I also used some estrogen cream which you insert vaginally....wow that was so soothing...ask your doctor....
