Extreme Abdomine Pain Sharp Pain In Upper Right Side.. 25 Days Post Op

MY entire stomach area feels like knives stabbing and gas pain . every so often a sharp pain hits me in my mid right side stomach area. anyone else ever get this or any advice? so uncomfortable .. and severe insomnia due to menopause or pain not sure .. OMG IM GOING INSANE...

If you are in this much pain, please call your doctor or go to the ER. The severe pain you mention is not normal and requires medical attention ASAP.

I had the same thing you are mentioning. What type of surgery did you have? I had the da vinci. I had pain where one of the ports were, and you could actually see it was sunk in at the same spot where my sharp pain was. My doc says that is where she put the fascia sp? stitch to hold my bowels up. It eventually went away on its own. I would definitely call your doctors office and be seen it could also be something much more serious. Never take a chance with your health.
