Red face - Any Canadians have an OBGYN that believes in Estrogen Dominance? Any Canadians have an OBGYN that believes in Estrogen Dominance?

Hello my fellow Canadians!
I live in California, green card, but I am from Mississauga, ON. My health problems and so bad and with SO many problems with the medical system here and the OBGYNs that I am considering moving back for a but to get my health care taken care of there.

So anyone here have OBGYN's covered by OHIP or whatever provincial medical systen, that believe your problems are due to estrogen dominance?
I have Adenomyosis that has made me disabled (have been unable to work for the past two yrs), massive adhesions just removed in past May lap/hysteroscopy(ovary and fall. glued to colon and pelvic wall) and in 2005 had grapefruit size dermoid inside ea. ovary.

the only estrogen dominant believers here are natural docs which you have to pay our of pocket. I have county based medical since I have no income but I fear I may be getting treatment from crappy docs. When i paid for medical I was paying $500 pr month on premium and with co-pays of visits and meds a grant total around $800. Nice eh!

Take care everyone!

I have to say that I did extensive work with accupuncture, cranial sacral therapy and naturopathy. Over the last three years working with these doctors, I have rid my body from all endometriosis and the scar tissue from 2 c sections was non existent. It was not possible for them to undo the damage from the ablation I had done four years ago which was the reason for having Adenomyosis. I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy with no complications because there was no scar tissue for the doctor to deal with.

Before the operation, I used Naproxen for pain which you get over the counter in the US as Aleve. I took lots but I functioned when I managed the pain by staying ahead of it. It can be hard on the kidneys long term so keep that in mind.

So the only thing I did not try was medication that throws you into menopause and heightens the risk of osteoperosis. Adenomyosis goes away after menopause. I was not willing to gamble with my bones. I'm far from the other side of menopause so I've just had a hyserectomy and can now go forward pain free.

By the way, in Chinese medicine(and others) endometriosis forms from issues related to mother daughter-daughter mother relations. The abdomen is the root chakra. It was true for me I'll admit so i also got to the root of my inner issues.

I know this is lots to take in seeing this was years of work for me but I hope you can take something from this that can help you decide your path. I'm off to see my Chinese medicine doc to get my chi back into flow after surgery. (this is my first time driving too)

Good luck sista

Hey Dowinit!
Wow I was just writing out notes for my OB appt in a few hrs and got your message. Thank you!
So did OHIP (I'm guessing you are from Ontario or another part of Canada with provincial health care), cover your accupuncture, cranial sacral therapy and naturopathy?
Well my mother and I are OK today but she was not very affectionate growing up and I really needed that, I was also sexually abused which would also back up your statement about this negative tissue that affects such an area.

I'm so glad the Chinese medicine is working for you!
