Fluid retention - related to surgery?

I know my belly being swollen from the TAH is normal, but my knee, where I had surgery this past Dec, is getting huge! I was wondering if it could possibly be related - eg (total guess) low blood pressure causing fluid retention? Nurses during staple removal today didn't think so & wanted me to go to ER. My knee isn't hurting though & not red - just tight & swollen so I decided to give it some time. Anyone else experience similar fluid retention other than at belly?

I don't know what would cause swelling, but I would call your DR or go to the ER. I would hate to have something damaged in your knee. Better safe than sorry. Good luck!
