Menopausal symptoms?

I had my hysterectomy 7 years ago - could I still be having menapausaul symtoms?

I was told that I can't have the HRT. I found something that is effective for me for the hot flashes. Aside from air conditioning and fans I find that if I eat a flavor ice it cools me off right away. Sometimes to the point that I am cold. Sometimes I need more than one. Give it a try. They taste really good and no side affects.

Yes as Suz said it can go for 10 years in some gals. I also find good advice on power-surge too relating to peri/meno symptoms. I keep both sites open when I am online lol. These are my saviors.

I use soy for my hot flashes. I think you need about 3-8oz glasses a day and it takes a few weeks to help. There are so many natural things out there you could try to help alleviate some of the symptoms.
