Is heavy bleeding a few hours after granulation tissue removal normal?

I had my surgery six months ago. Kept my ovaries, but took everything else out! I had some major complications after surgery and nearly died of internal bleeding and blood loss! After the initial hurtles, I started to recover. I did gain a lot of weight and that was crappy. I am now at six months, but two months ago I started bleeding after sex. It would last for a day or two. So I went back in to my Doc and he found granulation. So he cut it off and cauterized the area. It was very painful, and I actually have a high thresh hold of pain so we were all surprised. Anyway I am now sitting here bleeding heavy with pain down there. Is this normal to bleed so much after that procedure. It was this morning that I had it done, so it has only been about 12 hours and it is too late to call the office and not so bad to merit an emergency. He also believes that I am going to need to get on hormones since I am showing almost all signs of menopause. p.s. I am only 31 and this all seems very foreign to me!If its not one thing its seems to be everything. Please let me know if the bleeding is normal. ! Thank you!

I'm so sorry you're experiencing this.

Many ladies have had problems with granulation and I hope some will be along soon to share.

It may help you to read this HS article <link> Vaginal cuff granulation and cauterization. I'm just guessing but, if your treatment was more extensive than is usual, then bleeding is possible. But I would be concerned if it was very "heavy". If it hasn't improved in the last 24 hours, then please don't hesitate to contact your doctor.

Sending all good wishes and I hope it settles down very soon!
