Had TAH 1/4/08 now tubes and ovaries?

Hi ladies... need your help here. had a TAH on 1/4/08- and now have really bad reoccurring cysts- 6-14 CM each- they only burst- and come back within two days. Met with gyn-oncologist today and he made me fee like crap- saying hrt does not work- wants to do the incision up and down- 4 c sections 2 TR and 1 TAH all side to side...

I am torn... and a tad freaked out...
Can anyone offer some advise?

I am sorry to hear you are facing another surgery. I had my ovaries removed at the same time as my uterus was removed, so I can't share "exactly" the same concerns as you, but I will say that hormone replacement therapy (HRT) has worked just fine for me, (as it has for millions of women throughout the last half-century-plus) so I don't know why your doctor is "predicting" that it will not work in a satisfactory manner for you as well.

I had a 9-inch vertical incision for my colon cancer surgery in January of 2007 and everything healed very well just as my six-inch bikini-line horizontal incision did 5 years ago for my TAH/BSO. So based on my own experience, the type and length of incision didn't make any difference.
