Migraines

Is there anyone experiencing worsened, much more frequent, migraine headaches now that they're taking estrogen?

This happened to me, but just wondering if it's related to the HRT.

I get migraines when the estrogen is low. Not sure if my level was too high, if the same thing would happen.

I was getting frequent, bad migraines before the surgery due to the hormone fluxuation. I'm now on Vivelle Dot .05 and seem to be MUCH better now that the hormone level is even.

I take Topamax as a preventive for migraines. It's worked wonders for years. 2 months ago, my doctor put me on Premarin, and the migraines came flooding back!! She just prescribed the Vivelle dot .1mg. I'm hoping that works better for me.

I cannot do HRT but I had my first hormone headache post hysterectomy. It was worse than any migraine I ever had and there are no drugs to help it. It lasted four days. My sister gets hormone headaches and uses the bc ring to help her.
