Orgasms?

If you've had VH or LAVH with cervix removed, have you had orgasms since?

Yes i have had several and they feel the same as before. Actual intercourse feels a little different. I have some numbness about half way inside the vaginal canal, but it doesn't seem to effect my ability to have an orgasm at all. From what I understand our ability or inability to have an orgasm after a hysterectomy has more to do with our hormone level than the actual extraction of the organs.

I am over a year post op! SEX is great. Everything is functioning correctly and the same as before. I thought the 1st couple of months were not totally the same as before but I think it was that I was thinking about it being different so it was. Hubby says that there is no difference down there. (the difference is that I don't cry and I want it more)

Don't think about it - trying to decide what is different.
Just enjoy it.

Yep, it all still works, possibly better than ever. Of course, I had gone without for quite a while before surgery due to constant heavy bleeding, and any attempt to work around it just caused it to get worse or gave me cramps, so it's been a long time since it was good!

Hopefully as soon as my 11:20 appointment tuesday is over I will let you know LOL.

I checked things out "for myself" a couple days ago just to be sure and NO DIFFERENCE WHATSOEVER! Can't wait to give it a whirl with actual sex with I get the go-ahead!
