Bleeding 4weeks TAH post-op

My TAH was Sept. 8th. I noticed a little discharge last night, but was kind of expecting that with stitches coming out, but today there was also some bright red blood.

I have not had any sort of bleeding since my surgery.

My doctor cleared me to fly on the 8th (a long planned b-day trip), so I did end up shopping this weekend getting ready for my trip.

I dunno, maybe I overdid it?

Has this happened to anyone else that's had a TAH?

You might have overdone it shopping. I would call the doctor and check to see what he says.

With you travelling tomorrow I would give the Dr a call just to check. I am sure it is nothing to worry about but it is better to be safe than sorry. We are going through so many changes as we heal the Dr's reassurance is worth its weight in gold.
