Vaginal wall thickening

I'm 4 weeks post-op and all of a sudden as I was washing, I felt a very very rough spot in the opening of my vagina. I looked and there's a a rough white area, about the size of a pencil eraser. Previously there were no external or visible stitches. Anybody know anything about this? I am also having cystitis and am on antibiotics for a UTI.

I'm answering my own question: I'm pretty sure now I have some stitiches coming out that I didn't even know were there. Maybe now that the swelling has gone down they are visible? Don't know.

What type of hyster did you have?
Did they use any mesh?
"a rough white area, about the size of a pencil eraser" sounds a little concerning....
Are you having any discharge?
Sorry to pepper you with questions, just wondering myself what it could be...

Hmmmmm - the only white rough area that comes to mind for me is thrush. I read about thrush when I was breastfeeding and that's apparently what it looks like. Not sure if you can have vaginal thrush... you might want to check into that.
