another small lump in my arm pit???

i was here a long time ago, my problem is i have either what it is swollen lymph nodes in my arm pit or???
i noticed it a year or so ago.. it went away but now it's back??? is this something i should be concerend about?? my mom said she has heard of swollen lymph nodes, but this is been on going for awhile..
i had my hyst. in 03,along with many complacations.. i had a rectoclele and cystocele repaired, and now 5 weeks ago i had a lap and had the endo cut out...
could it be hormone related???
it's always in my left side and my breast is always sore! i'm totally exhuseted and have been having night sweats???and somedays i'm sooo irritable!!!!

is this menopause??? or what?
i still have my right ovary, and dr.s says when he was in there the ovary looked good.. THANK GOD!!!

This is just my humble opinion but if your name indicates anything, you could be exasperbating(?) the problem by caffiene... I had several questionable mammos and stopped drinking coffee after a few cups and have not had "coffe cysts" since then... Also in chocolate, colas, etc...All the things I love.

pattie...that is very interesting what you say about caffeine. my best friend has had a lump under her armpit that comes and goes for about a year now. she's had mammogram and ultrasound...i'm not sure what the results were but her dr. feels it is hormonal. sometimes it gets quite big and sore, then it goes down. my friend is a huge chocoholic and drinks some coffee at work, so maybe the caffeine does exacerbate the problem.

coffeelover...i suggest you get the appropriate tests (mammogram and ultrasound and whatever else the dr. recommends) and be sure to followup on a regular basis. good luck and hope you'll be feeling better soon. the nightsweats and exhaustion sound like menopause...if you aren't getting a good sleep, then you will be exhausted and irritable...my friend has the same symptoms but controls them with an hrt patch. she's tried to wean herself, but always goes back on because she can't get proper sleep and works fulltime shiftwork.

another small lump in my arm pit???

you know when i first signed up with hystersisters back a few years ago,i used to LOVE coffee!! to the point where i drank ALOT of it.. since my hyst. and now for about a year or so i have had alot of uti's and yeast infections.. i have stayed away from coffee like that. i mean i will have my one or 2 cups in the morning, but other than that i don't drink it like that anymore. and as far as chocolate.. i stay away from that to!!! i have a ulcer and gastrisis.. i don't drink soda either ..since my rectoclele and cyctocle repair.. i LOVE water!! want to keep it all moving GOOD!
so, i made a appt. with my g.p. and i guess i will see what he thinks..
thanks for the advice

Yes I think if you are being such a "good" girl, then you might need to look elsewhere... I would think it is entirely possible also to be hormonal related, but it is best left up to the experts... That way if there is a problem, you will catch it early.
Keep us posted on how it goes.

My sister drinks ALOT of caffeine and she often gets cysts. Her dr. and I have been told by other dr's that caffeine can cause cysts in the breasts. Her caffeine fix isn't coffee but Mt. Dew.
